Qiblahtain Mosque is located in Madinah. Earlier the Muslims used to perform their prayers (Namaz) facing in the direction of “Baitul-Maqdis” ( Jerusalem ). Once during the second year of Hijrah (Migration) the Holy Prophet Muhammad SAW was leading the prayers in the Qiblahtain mosque, at Banu Salma, when Allah’s command came to face The Kaaba during prayers, from then on towards. Hence the Mosque came to be known as Masjid-e-Qiblahtain, or the Mosque of two Qiblahs.
